Ozone-Oxygen-Therapy

What is medical ozone?

The therapy gas is a precise mixture of pure medical oxygen and a small, measured share of ozone. Your doctor sets the concentration for your treatment.

  • O₃A reactive form of oxygen, made of three oxygen atoms instead of two.
  • ≤ 5%The mixture is mostly medical oxygen, with no more than 5% ozone.
  • FreshGenerated from medical-grade oxygen for each treatment. It is colourless, has a distinctive smell and is never inhaled.
  • DecadesUsed in medical practice for decades as a complementary treatment, alongside conventional medicine.

Three ways ozone is applied.

Ozone (O₃), sometimes called active oxygen, is a form of oxygen with a strong oxidising effect. Our system generates a controlled oxygen–ozone mixture from medical-grade oxygen, and the concentration is adjusted to the application and your individual treatment protocol.

Ozone-Oxygen-Therapy FAQs.

What does Ozone-Oxygen-Therapy involve?

An oxygen–ozone mixture is generated from medical-grade oxygen at a concentration set for your treatment. How much does treatment cost?

Are there side effects?

Possible side effects depend on the application and include temporary pain, redness or bruising at an injection site, gastrointestinal symptoms, headache and, with intestinal insufflation, bloating or feeling faint. Your doctor discusses the side effects relevant to your treatment as part of the consent process.

Which equipment does the clinic use?

Our clinic uses the German-made Hyper Medozon comfort system, which generates a controlled oxygen–ozone mixture from medical-grade oxygen. Ask your doctor about the proposed protocol during your consultation.
