A short guide to seeing a private GP in Tallaght, Dublin 24: what we treat, how appointments work, costs, and how to book.
What a GP Consultation at Our Clinic Looks Like
A standard private GP appointment at Dr. Torun’s Clinic in Tallaght lasts long enough to actually examine and listen — usually 15–20 minutes. You will not be rushed.
A typical appointment includes:
- History. Your doctor asks about your symptoms, how long they have been going on, what you have tried, and your relevant medical and family history.
- Examination. Where appropriate, your doctor will examine you (for example, blood pressure, listening to your chest, examining your throat or skin).
- Discussion. You and the doctor agree on a plan together — that might be reassurance, a prescription, blood tests, a referral, or a short follow-up.
- Documentation. Notes are written and prescriptions are issued at the end of the appointment.
- Follow-up. If you need to come back, we make that easy with phone, video or in-person options.
